FILE FORMATS:
GaN2007.csv - text file with comma-serparated-values

GaN2006.txt - text file with tab delimited values

GaN2006.xls - Mircrosoft Excel Spreadsheet format, suitable for direct import into ArcGIS 9.2, AEJEE, and ArcGIS Explorer

GaN2006.mdb - ESRI personal geodatabase for use with ArcGIS 9.x.  NB: this is NOT a standard Microsoft Access database.

GaN2006_shp.zip - Zipped archive containing the 6 files that make up an ESRI Shapfile version of the data.

GaN2006.kmz - zipped file for use with Google Maps

FIELDS:
time_reported = Date and time the observation was reported in format YYYYMMDDHHMMSS where Y= year, M= month, D=day, H=hour, M=minutes, S=seconds

lat = latitude

lon = longitude

obs_day = day the observation was made

obs_hr = hour the observation was made

obs_min = minutes the observation was made

timezone = timezone in which observation was made

Lmag = limiting magnitude as determined by magnitude chart observed

pct_cloud = percentage of cloud cover

sky_comment = comments on sky conditions

location_comment = comments on location

other_comment = additional comments
